Central London Town House
I needed to some help when I moved from an old Victorian house to modern town house in Central London. The furniture didn't fit and everything seemed inappropriate. It was time for a complete change of style. My problem was that there is basically so much "stuff" out there now and not enough time to research everything properly. This became a daunting task.
I saw an article written by one of Sarah's previous clients and having met some other interior designers where we didn't really gel, I really got the impression that it would work with Sarah.
I knew basically what I wanted to achieve but didn't now how to execute it. After a couple of meetings with Sarah it was clear that we were on the same wavelength and she quickly understood what was needed. Sarah had some wonderful ideas ranging from colour schemes through to fabrics and furniture.
What was important for me was that this was a collaborative exercise, it needed to be my place, not somebody else's. We had great fun going through the various ideas and designs. With so much choice available Sarah was able to do the hard work and narrow the choices down to a few items that we often went out together to view. This knowledge of what was available and where it was invaluable to me.
Not letting the expenditure spiral out of control is important and the regular updates after each meeting of expenditure and projections made it very easy to keep an eye on the total cost.
The whole project required meetings, coordination of builders, deliveries and shopping excursions. All of this was professionally managed with fastidious punctuality.
Overall a great fun experience that was professionally executed with a fantastic result. I would certainly use Sarah again and can strongly recommend her and her team.

Some interior designers were keen to do their own thing. But I wanted to make my own imprint. I wanted it to feel like it was my home. Sarah wanted that too; she was always asking for my ideas.
There was a budget for each room and a constantly updated schedule. We devised the scheme and budget in February, work started in March and was finished by May. She was also great at coordinating everything and everyone who worked on the flat. I wouldn't do another property without an interior designer now."
London Calling
"While living in Los Angeles, Sarah Fox designed the homes of many of it's stars. Back in England, she opened up the space in her London home to create some Californian sunshine.
Most important was to allow as much natural light into the house as possible. I wanted a blank canvas on which to create my dream interior, so we enlarged windows and installed skylights, resulting in a glorious release of light. My home is the perfect place to display my furniture."
